Website Design Specs and Pricing Information

Items NOT included in my Website Designs:

1)      Domain Name:  I suggest going to GoDaddy.com to register your domain name.  Be careful of registrars who want you to pay more than $10.00-$15.00 per year for a .com or .net domain name – they just want to make more money off you than is necessary!  That is why I highly suggest GoDaddy.   (Additional information will be provided about registering the perfect domain name for your business during the Design Interview)

2)      Website Text and Content:  It is your responsibility to do the writing of the text for your website pages.  I do not do any editing or grammatical corrections.  I input on the page what you send me in your Word document.  Please take some time to carefully write your pages and be sure to use as many keywords in the text as you can!  (More information of this will be provided during our Design Interview)

 Informational “Billboard” Websites – Starting at $199.00!

These websites are considered “static” in web terminology.   They are not connected to a database, online shopping cart, or changed frequently.  Their purpose is mainly to have an online presence showing the world you are here and what you do. 

Typical pages for this type of site are: Home, About (or Services), and Contact.

These sites are custom created from scratch with your colors, logo, and clipart images (I have an account with clipart.com for images if you do not have any).

Once built, I will be the one to make your required updates as your site will reside on my computer and server.  No backend access is possible.  Additional fees will apply when you need updates.

Informational Website Pricing:

1-3 Pages: $199.00

4-7 Pages: $402.00

8-10 Pages: $603.00

Monthly Hosting for Billboard Sites:

3 pages:  $5.99 per month or $35.94 if you pay for a year of hosting up front.

4-10 Pages: $9.99 per month or $59.94 if you pay for a year of hosting up front.

11+ Pages: $16.99 per month or $101.94 if you pay for a year of hosting up front.  Please note that if you require a website that is 11 pages or more then I would suggest considering a CMS system site instead.  They make it much easier to organize, handle, and display your information.  See below for CMS website information.

Add-Ons to Informational Websites:

Blog: $275.00 (includes designing to match your website)

Photo Gallery: $75.00 per Gallery up to 20 Images

Custom Contact Form: $65.00 up to 10 fields (additional fields are $15.00 each)

Rollover Buttons: $55.00 for up to 3 menu buttons  (additional rollover buttons are $20.00 each)

eCommerce Websites

These are websites that you can sell your products with!  An online shopping cart is included.  This is a GREAT way to have your store online!

Items you will need for an eCommerce website:

1)      A Merchant Account:  You will need one of these to accept credit cards and checks online.  You can setup one through your bank or PayPal.com. 

2)      Shipping: For shipping you will need to create an account with your preferred shipping provider (USPS, FedEX, DHL etc).

Pricing:

This depends on several different factors such as how many non-store pages you want and how many items you plan to sell.  Please contact me for a Quote.

Joomla CMS Website

These websites are the BEST way to be online if you have a lot of information to display or plan on updating your site often.  You will have backend access to the website so you can update and/or change the site from any internet connection at anytime!

Joomla is very easy to use via the backend once you are trained on how to use it!

Custom graphics, database configuration, component and module installation & organization are included in the design price.    2 Hours training with me on how to update and change the site will be done via phone conference at the end of your site completion. 

These websites can be Informational, eCommerce, Community driven, or Blog type.  The possibilities are endless! 

Per Month Hosting for CMS Sites:

Due to the fact that these sites are database driven, and not static, the charge per month for hosting is $24.99.

All the packages below include these components and modules – a generic contact form, a random image module (to show random images on each page), and a Members Login form.
